  • On Monday, October 25th, BC Hydro will be on island to replace the H-stand that is located in front of the laneway between the Kids Market and Waterfront Theater buildings. There will be a planned partial power outage between 9:00am and 6:00pm on the day of affecting several neighboring tenants.

  • Also on Monday, October 25th, CMHC’s contractor(s) will be replacing fire hydrant #6 located near the tip of A Bread Affair building on Johnston Street. A planned water shut-off will commence at 7:30pm on the 25th and carry over to 5:00am on the 26th in order to facilitate this overnight work. This shut-off will affect the Public Market, Net Loft, A Bread Affair, Maritime Market, Bridges, Popina Canteen, and False Creek Ferries. Please reminded to make any necessary preparation for all your perishable goods if you still have water-cooled equipment inside your space. Please be note the water shut-off is for after-hours on Monday night to Tuesday early morning; apologies for any confusion.

  • On October 27th and 28th, CMHC’s contractor(s) will be replacing fire hydrant #7 located next to Malaspina Printmaker and fire hydrant #12 next to Granville Island Hotel’s fire lane. The crew will be conducting the work during regular business hours and at current time we do not anticipate any water shut-off for these 2 replacements.
