City of Vancouver Bridge Work - Updated dates highlighted in green

1. The sidewalk exclusion zone around the corner of Granville Island Brewing will remain in place on May 31st and June 1st, with spotters on site to assist in redirecting and maintaining pedestrian access.

Please use additional caution when driving in this area as there may be more pedestrian traffic than usual.

CoV will again need to implement the exclusion zone and traffic control on Duranleau St on June 1st and 2nd. Vehicles will need to redirect as shown below:

Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) will be on site to assist vehicles in making the right turn around the curb and ensuring flow of vehicles as they merge from Duranleau and East Anderson.

City of Vancouver Bridge Work/Spalling Maintenance

Beginning Monday, May 31st, CoV will be completing required spalling maintenance underneath the Granville Bridge at the entrance to Granville Island. This work will take approximately 2-3 days, working from 7:30AM - 2PM each day and will required the closure of one lane of traffic for an 80ft boom lift. Traffic control will be in place for your safety and there should be no noise associated with this work.


CMHC Operations - Paver Work

On Sunday, May 30th, beginning at 8AM, Roaran will be on site with a crew performing paver work at the manhole cover at the intersection of Anderson St and Johnston St, near the Old Bridge Parking Lot, shown below:

There will be barricades/delineators/cones to redirect traffic around the work, and there should otherwise be little to no interruptions in traffic flow.
