28 May 2021 12:21 AM | Anonymous

1. The sidewalk exclusion zone around the corner of Granville Island Brewing will remain in place until May 28th, with spotters on site to assist in redirecting and maintaining pedestrian access.

Please use additional caution when driving in this area as there may be more pedestrian traffic than usual.

CoV will need to implement an additional exclusion zone on Duranleau St where it curves onto Anderson St as you exit the Island on May 25-26. Vehicles will need to redirect around the large planter curb as shown below:

Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) will be on site to assist vehicles in making the right turn around the curb and ensuring flow of vehicles as they merge from Duranleau and East Anderson.

3. The 3-parking stalls exclusion zone in front of Tony's Fish 'n Chip on Duranleau Street will be in effect.

4. The exclusion zone on the northwest corner of the Building 55, building adjacent to Compactor Site 2 will be in effect.

5. The exclusion zone along the front of The Keg restaurant will be in effect.

6. Should weather allow, city crews will be sandblasting on Granville Street Bridge on Saturday and/or Sunday between 7am and 3pm. Please anticipate moderate to high amount of noise resonating from above.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Granville Bridge work, you can contact City of Vancouver directly at
