Granville Bridge Upgrades

1. The sidewalk exclusion zone around the corner of Granville Island Brewing will remain in place until May 24th, with spotters on site to assist in redirecting and maintaining pedestrian access.

Please use additional caution when driving in this area as there may be more pedestrian traffic than usual.

CoV will need to implement an additional exclusion zone on Duranleau St where it curves onto Anderston St as you exit the Island. Vehicles will need to redirect around the large planter curb as shown below:

Pump Station Repair Testing & Manhole Access

On Tuesday, May 25th, CoV crews will be at the pump station just off island (the large building on the other side of the pond behind Kid's Market, on the seawall side) for some testing and will possibly need to access a few manholes on Granville Island depending on how the testing goes.

Should they need access, it will be on Johnston St between A Bread Affair and the corner of the Public Market, for approximately 15 minutes or less to take measurements. This will be sometime between 10:30AM and 1PM. There will be a flagger on site to assist and access to the loading zone will be maintained. Depending on traffic, a few cars may need to be stopped for a couple of minutes. See location below:
