We are reaching out to share information with the tenant community regarding today's COVID-19 announcement, which will affect many Island businesses either directly or indirectly. New Provincial Health Orders were announced by Dr. Bonnie Henry this afternoon in response to a rise in recent cases, including BC's second-highest daily case total since the start of the pandemic. The orders are in effect as of midnight on Monday, March 29th and extend to April 19th. Restrictions include:
  • All food and liquor-serving premises must pivot to takeout and delivery only
  • Indoor dining is suspended however patios can remain open for service
  • People dining on patios should do so with their immediate household or core bubble only
  • Indoor, adult group fitness activities of any kind are paused
